Week of November 12, 2007
We worked hard last week and pushed ourselves to complete our first draft this marking period. Awesome work writers! :)

This week, all writer's should begin to write a second personal narrative. Each writer will choose one of their two narratives to completely revise, edit, polish, and publish by the end of this marking period. We will be having an "Author's Celebration" to show off all our hard work this month.

Week of November 5, 2007
Everyone really enjoyed reading "The Landlady" and presenting a skit of their own ending to the story. Nice job to those students who were prepared and presented already! :) For those of you who have not yet presented, remember, you will need to make arrangements (with me) during lunch or after school to present your skit.

This week, we will be getting back into our writing workshop. Our goal is to complete a polished personal narrative by Thanksgiving. So, everyone needs to work really hard and write as much as possible for the next few weeks. There will be an author's celebration at the end of the marking period.
