Week of March 26, 2007
We are continuing with our Holocaust unit by beginning a reader's theatre with the "Diary of Anne Frank". All students will be given a journal to write their response to various questions relevant to the Holocaust and Anne Frank study thorough out this unit.
Monday ( 3/26/07) -
Students will reflect on their own family tree and complete a journal entry. Then, we will begin reading the "Diary of Anne Frank". Since this is a play, each student has a reading/speaking part, which should make this an enjoyable unit for them.
Tuesday & Wednesday (3/27/07 - 3/28/07) -
Students will complete a journal entry and then continue reading the "Diary of Anne Frank".
Thursday (3/29/07) -
Students will begin by completing a journal entry. Then, while watching "The Holocaust: A Teenager's Experience" they will answer questions.
Friday (3/30/07) - No school! Spring Break begins - Enjoy! :)
Week of April 2, 2007
There is no school all week due to Spring Break! Students relax and enjoy your time off, because next week we will hit the ground running.
