Week of January 29, 2007
Monday (1/29/07) - Students will engage in pre-reading activities for the "Landlady" by Roahld Dahl. We will discuss foreshadow and imagery.
Tuesday (1/30/07) - Students will begin reading, listening to the audio, and monitoring their comprehension of the "Landlady".
Wednesday (1/31/07) - Students will continue reading, listening to, and monitoring their comprehension of the "Landlady".
Thursday (2/1/07) - Students will prepare to role-play a discussion between the Landlady and a detective. With a partner, students will discuss, interview, and write the dialogue for this role-playing activity.
Friday (2/2/07) -
Students will take the "Landlady" test.
Students will present and hand in their dialogue.
